In order to work in this sector, companies must be legally established, have a suitable corporate purpose and a permit issued by the Portuguese Road Transport Department (DGTT), regulated in Decree-Law 255/99 of 7 July.

Cargobase Transitários is a licensed freight forwarder, holder of licence number 748/2010 issued by the Portuguese Mobility and Road Transport Institute - IMTT - and is member number 732 of APAT – the Portuguese Freight Forwarders Association.

Our services meet the standards established in the following “General Conditions for the Provision of Services by Freight Forwarders”, approved by APAT, on 22 October 2000 and applied through Decree-Law 255/99 of 7 July (communication under the terms and for the purposes of article 5 of Decree-Law 446/85 of 25 October).
